How it works in practice
How long it takes
Our first draft takes 48 hours. Within 24 hours of receiving your material, we review it and confirm whether we can meet that time. Longer or more complex projects, such as those with animation or research, can take more time, and we agree the timing with you.
Revisions
Revisions are unlimited within the scope of the project. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we also respect the guidelines agreed at the start: major changes to those guidelines are handled separately. We receive your comments on each video through Frame.io.
Your team
Each client has an assigned editor, a trained backup editor, a thumbnail artist, a YouTube strategist and an account manager. The editor and the backup are trained together, so the work continues if the editor is on vacation, is sick or has a technical problem. VVS is a team of more than 30 people: partners, account managers, editors, designers, strategists and support. The team is bilingual (English and Spanish), with a presence in the United States and Argentina.
Who owns the videos
The videos are yours, and you have the rights to use them. If you want the project files, we can hand them over. This has to be agreed before the project starts.
Sending footage and staying in touch
Send your footage through whatever channel is most convenient for you. There are no limits on the size or length of your raw footage; the scope and the price are agreed with you. Communication with the team is daily and direct, through the channel you prefer. We find it works best over Slack, Gmail or Discord. We work Monday to Friday, Eastern Time (ET). Our own platform is coming soon.
Formats, tools and languages
We edit every format: long-form videos, podcasts, short-form videos and clips (clipping). Motion graphics, VFX, color and audio correction, music and sound effects, stock footage, custom text and animated captions, in up to 4K. We work mainly in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. If a client requires it, we can also work in DaVinci Resolve or CapCut. We work in English and Spanish. We don't edit events.

Is VVS trustworthy? Where can I verify it?
You can verify VVS in several ways. VVS's profile on YTJobs lists 58 verified clients and 38 client reviews, and carries the “Highly Recommended” badge. The clients page shows the channels and businesses VVS works with. And we always start with a free call, so you can get to know the team first.
Is video editing separate from The VVS Method?
Yes. Editing is a service in itself and you can hire it without the strategy service. If you also want help with strategy, see The VVS Method.
